We were very pleased that Bruce Baizel is running for the La Plata County Board of Commissioners. Our county needs leaders who understand how important it is to listen to those of us who care so deeply about protecting this rural section of the state with its rich western traditions. Bruce is this type of independently thinking leader whose allegiance is to the well being of our land and our community, not someone with a political agenda or who is looking for personal gain. We have seen that he is dedicated to making good and careful decisions regarding environmental integrity today that will ensure an enduring future for our county and the well being of our children.
